Power Up - Teacher Residency for Rural Education - November 6, 2023
In the Lab Power Up 1 session on November 6, 2023, the Lab built on the content shared at the regional kick-offs in Fall 2023. The Tulare County Office of Education shared key insights into recruitment best practices from their work with The California Center on Teaching Careers (the Center), which recruits and retains teachers statewide. As part of its fight against the teacher shortage, the Center advocates for the profession, increases the pool of candidates for teacher preparation programs, and recruits credentialed teachers.
