Special Education Deep Dive (Session 1) 2025-2026
In this foundational session, we’ll examine the current landscape of educator preparation with a specific focus on the intersection of special education and general education residency design. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the urgent need for inclusive teacher preparation models that effectively address the persistent shortages in special education. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of why inclusive residency design is essential—not just for special education, but for all teacher preparation—and how addressing these needs can strengthen both general and special education pathways.
