Establishing Norms of Collaboration
Residency partnerships include participants from at least two, but oftentimes more than two, institutions. Every institution has their own mission, vision, and operating procedures. To establish an effective residency partnership, the residency partnership team should explicitly establish and often revisit their norms of collaboration. This tool from the National Staff Development Council can be used to help residency partnership teams consider and agree upon their norms of collaboration.
